Frenectomy is done on both adults and children, before and after orthodontics. It can be done with a LASER also. We numb you up as though you are getting a filling. The frenum is gently removed. While most procedures are done with just local anesthetics, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and sedation is always available for anxious patients.
